When a band is on the road for months, moving city to city across the world, there's no space for mistakes, delays or damage. Ask The Rolling Stones, Sigur Ros or Madonna. Whether they need to get their gear to a sold out stadium show in Tokyo or to an intimate gig in Soho; artists big and small rely on Sound Moves to get their cargo where in needs to go - on time and on budget.

For the Sound Moves team, every move is a carefully orchestrated piece of art, tailored to the clients' specific needs and cargo specifications. Whether the requirement is a "one off" show or an 18 month World Tour, the comprehensive planning and approach is the same.  From first quotation to final delivery, our team offers 24/7 availability and comprehensive service to each and every client.

From 2009 to 2011, U2 set out on their most monumental tour ever: 131 shows, 78 cities on 5 continents. The show included one of the biggest and most complex stages of any music tour, a 360° stage that surrounded the audience. Over the course of 20 months, Sound Moves moved 750 tons of freight around the world for U2, including 250 lighting systems and 180 LED moving video screens.

The stage was so time consuming to load in and out that the band had to have three different stages built, so while U2 was performing on one stage, Sound Moves was delivering another to the next city on the tour and picking up the third from the previous venue. The 360° World Tour was the highest grossing music tour of all time.
